change "viewing" thread to "replying"

hello,
i am not exactly sure where i remember this from.....i think it might be vbulletin days, not sure....

used to have an addon tho, to show if a member is "currently replying" to a topic.....rather than, what i assume is the default of only showing that they are viewing it....

there is also a chance xenforo already has this built in, lol, but i was having a hard time verifying....

anyone know anything about this kind of functionality?

I think it's hard to distinguish between "viewing" and "replying" with XF, because normally there is no dedicated "reply" view. Both happens on the same page.

i am not sure how the other addon did it....tho i am becoming more confident it was actually on vbulletin the more i ponder on it...

i assume the concept would be the same tho....there must be some kind of trigger when a user is interacting with the editor....perhaps even the auto draft save would work...

it can be handy sometimes when a thread is active and moving faster than the replies, would be sort of nice to see it back.
