Change account email address

I need to change my account email address. I can't log into my account as I can't remember what my email at the time of buying was and all those that I have
tried come back as no email of that name exists.

I did try a couple of months ago but so many obstacles were put in my way that I couldn't complete it, I mean come on, what has the colour of my underpants
got to do with changing my email address.

Because I can't sign into my account and update some details, it says to the world that I am using pirated software.

I have the full purchase details so it's not as if I'm trying to con anyone.

Any help gratefully received.

We don't know the colour of your underpants, nor do we want to ;)

However, we did ask you to verify some information that would help us identify the correct account. I'm sure you appreciate that it is a fairly standard procedure that most companies follow to comply with both the laws and our customer's expectations of account privacy and security.

Thanks Chris, underpants are clean, I change them every Easter and Christmas :)
I don't want it to look as if I'm using unauthorised xenforo.

It won't (doesn't) look like that. Just persevere and I'm sure we'll get there. We just have to be careful in terms of data protection.
