Centmin Mod Users & CentOS Users EPEL DNS issues

Just a heads up for Centmin Mod LEMP stack users or CentOS users if they have issues with yum updates, it maybe related to EPEL DNS issues with some public dns servers like Google 8.8.8.8. Workaround at https://community.centminmod.com/threads/september-6th-2017-epel-yum-repo-dns-issues.12786/

its working perfect on cent os 6.

i had got problem due to epel module error on cent os 7. i reinstall os atlease 3 times and reinstalled centminmod too every time i got error on epel x86 x64 not found.

After relaxing for some time i gave try to install again by installing cent os 6 on my vps.

i m not expert but i got problem so change os and problem gone

so can retry CentOS 7 as it's much better

you can check if epel is working before centmin mod install

yum -y install epel-release
yum clean all
yum repolist

if no complaints against epel yum then you'd good to go
