Centmin Mod community moves from G+ Communities

@eva2000 you sure are a pagespeed nut. I think you've been that way well for as long as I can remember which is a long time.

Congrats on your 4 years with Xenforo!
Haha pagespeed nut describes me well.

Next goal for page speed optimisation is converting my Centmin Mod site and forums over to progressive web app (PWA) https://community.centminmod.com/threads/centminmod-com-progressive-web-app-pwa-conversion.15286/

already seeing the pagespeed gains on non-xenforo site PWA conversion side - just doing testing for Xenforo PWA conversion side :D

Will there be a guide on how to do xenforo pwa?

Most likely won't be a public guide right now and well I am still testing and learning - so haven't made all the mistakes and learnt from them yet :)

For centminmod.com site PWA conversion there is up to 69-87% faster page speed according to Google Analytics metrics so far https://community.centminmod.com/th...sive-web-app-pwa-conversion.15286/#post-65486.

For centmin mod forums numbers are limited as I only added PWA browsing mode for forum members via User Preference checkbox option during testing - will later enable PWA forum wide

s7-app-03-tn.webp

both site and forum installed PWA apps on my Samsung Galaxy S7

There are so many good things to say about your community - congrats on the (near) milestone! Do you have any tips on how to create a postbit with similar information?

Part of PixelExit's FlatAwesome style - wonderful work by @Pixel Exit :D
Just found out about centminmod. Going to try it on a vps and see if it's something i can get used to. I am so used to cpanel though.
Advice spin up a test hourly VPS to learn the ropes https://community.centminmod.com/threads/guide-to-learning-more-about-centmin-mod.10838/. Referral link to Upcloud gives you US$25 free credit to play with so $5/month VPS will have up to 5 months to play with Centmin Mod on test VPS ;) :D

Do you have any plans to make a graphical interface for centminmod? I am not that bad with ssh but thinking about cli just feels dreadful everytime i have to do something in it. Googleing for commands and errors etc just annoying and it's rarely i have to use cli only for server maintenance/updates etc.

You will get a larger user base especially with the awesome speed improvements centminmod offers (i have been following your Twitter and noticing how you have increased your web core vitals scores when nobody else seems to care for xenforo). It doesn't have to be full blown gui like cpanel/whm for example but commonly used tasks like adding domains/subdomains, mail forwarders, server status etc.

I still don't know how i would add domains/subdomains with cli lol, always had cpanel take care of that for me. Going with centminmod would mean i would have to learn that and that means a lot of trial and error.

Oh and i can't register on your community. I get this message

Tried on PC and mobile, different browsers, guess must be my IP under some block

no plans for graphical GUI, shell menu does most of your mundane tasks https://centminmod.com/menu.html there's both shell menu and cli command line to add new Nginx vhost sites i.e. https://community.centminmod.com/th...-nginx-vhost-site-mysql-database-setup.13602/ so you can pick either one.

Example of using shell menu to install Wordpress site on my blog at https://servermanager.guide/122/how-to-install-wordpress-on-centmin-mod-lemp-stack-guide/

username STN ? Your ISP in XXXXX is caught in spam block list :( If you have a VPN use that :)
