XF 1.1 Can't upload avatar

For testing purposes I've migrated a vB4 into xenForo 1.1.5.

I've tried to upload an avatar but it doesn't work. The progress bar is running and running but the image won't be uploaded. I got no error message nothing.

I already checked the folder rights. All are 755. I tried changing to 777 but still the same Problem.

Anyone an idea what this could be?

Are there any related errors in the log?

Admin CP -> Tools -> Server Error Log

Also make sure data and internal_data are writable on the server.

Also try using a different image library if one is available:

Admin CP -> Home -> Options -> Attachments -> Default Image Processor

No errors in the log.

But changing to PHP Built-In GD Image Library solved the Problem.

If you ever go back to ImageMagick then you should try upgrading to the latest version. That fixed this problem for some one else:

But GD works fine. The main reason for using ImageMagick is to support animated avatars.

Okay, I give it a try and ask my hoster for updating ImageMagick to the latest Version as my Server is still running 6.6.0-4.

In vB I was used to mention the path to ImageMagick in the Admin CP. Do I have to do it in xenForo anywhere as well?

Just change the default image processor in Options -> Attachments
