Except some of us been waiting so long for a update we can no longer even get security fixes. I will not pay to renew my licence when I am not sure which way the product is going. We should be able to get a security patch for free.

The announcement forum is there for that purpose, no searching necessary. Every forum software company that I have used, provides their security updates via their support forums.
