Yep, after getting some responses that his post was not the best choice he selected to go back and edit it to make it even worse sounding.

WOW ...that makes me think that is his real job there...crowd control , who better to do that than someone who specializes in helping (mis)info reach people...(unless I misunderstand that is what he is right?....a marketing person) Just wow. It sends a pretty deep message IMHO

I imagine there's a few print-screeners running around by now, especially after it's been brought to the attention of a number of people now.

This really seems to open up IB to highlight how unprofessional their staff are and bringing it up in court might display just how far down the ridiculousness goes across several levels, not just the programming side.

I was incompetent but they were asking me to move and work at LA office What a nice company getting ready to spend that much money for an incompetent guys move to LA

By all means discuss any relevance with the case, but if you wish to discuss vBulletin employees then please do so on the vBulletin forum.

It still makes me laugh that they are trying to claim they've lost custom because of XenForo, when will they realise, they lost it themselves through their own actions. They'd lost me as a customer long before XenForo was even announced. If anything Xenforo actually kept me using vbulletin for about 10 months longer.

I have been in the same boat. I dragged along the conversion to xF for approximately 8/9 months - I decided to give vBulletin more chances to return the investment that I put into vBSI. But no, not only does the operations manager says that it would be "amically" better to part company - and I have proof. He offered me double what I originally thought I'd get.

I think IB/vBSI are just trying to make up excuses for their losses. I gave them chances after chances.

I'd love to be able to provide a testimony to this fact to help counter any claims in the case that xenforo has caused them a loss of custom.

No, you don't. That's exactly what IB wants; more "defendants" which in turn means more cash drain. Meaning, everyone who's in the case are actually what I like to call Collateral. In other words, two birds, one stone.

If it was me, I would have my attorney request to split the case. I wouldn't want to be lumped in as a defendant with XF. The rationale being, I am not currently employed by them and I don't have any business relationships with them, take me to court independently. Then schedule the court dates AFTER the case with XF, and then when that was decided ask for a summary dismissal.
