page 5, line 13 is very interesting claim made by VBSI that xenForo.com WHOIS was registered in California.
Been going through IB employee's declarations... I'm in full support of XenForo, but I'm a little troubled by Rosenblum's declaration, which affirms that the ex devs had access to over 100 million dollars worth of IB assets. He affirms that they had access to information contained in vBulletin forums which IB run.
I think that the information contained on such large boards would be of enormous value during development of new features, and I can see a very valid point there to litigate. What do you think about this?
100 million dollars worth of assets? Exactly what kind of assets is he referring to?
touche' lolVb 4.0 with Bugs i guessMust be worth Millions .

I might be going on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure most of the information would prove a bit useless when it came to developing a feature set for vBulletin.Been going through IB employee's declarations... If Kier was looking for feature suggestions, he'd be looking at the forum designated for such discussions on vBcom's own site. When it comes to developing XenForo, most of what's here is the expected minimum of any forum software, but applied with the standards of this decade, not the previous one.
EDIT: Ah, Kier replied.![]()
IB have submitted a representation of the defendant at work at vBulletin to help illustrate their claims.

Thanks for the reply Kier, I am reading the Answer to FAC now.
The only reason I'm interested on this point, is because I believe it may be the only valid point IB's made, everything else is frivolous nonsense.
I mean reality is IB does have some pretty popular forums, with tons of traffic. Some of these boards are heavily modified.. And I would wonder, if anyone had access to statistical information of any such boards, couldn't one very reliably conclude which mods make traffic increase so dramatically? It could be a unique opportunity to get such information.
I guess the question really is.. was there any printed, or electronic file, with such statistical information moving around to privileged devs? I guess if you never had access to those the lawsuit is wholly pointless. But being fair here, if there was privileged access to that supposedly über valuable information, wouldn't IB be entitled to some relief? IB has misconducted itself on many issues, and we bear witness. But this particular issue is worth debating.
