Also, just FYI:

The seven winners for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2012 Greater Los Angeles Award are:
  • Jeffrey Clark, President & CEO, Anthony International
  • David Overton, Chairman & CEO, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated
  • Jon Kirchner, Chairman & CEO, DTS, Inc.
  • Simon Bax, CEO, and Bill Tillson, President & COO, Encompass Digital Media, Inc.
  • Sunnie Kim, President & CEO, Hana Financial, Inc.
  • Bob Brisco, CEO & Director, Internet Brands
  • Peter Dameris, President & CEO, On Assignment, Inc.
Entrepreneur does not mean innovator... on top of it, it's not like it was done by "Los Angeles"... it's done by Ernst & Young (a private company). And more or less anyone can nominate you. http://www.ey.com/US/en/About-us/Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneur-Of-The-Year/US_EOY_Article_FAQ

For all you know, there were 7 nominations and they all "won". :) If someone lost their mind and nominated me, I'll tell them to piss off... I have better ways to spend my time than to go to dinner galas to celebrate my own self-affirmed greatness. lol

Side note - I have a friend who was on the cover of Success Magazine... http://www.success.com/ all it takes is for you to spend some advertising dollars with them. :)

E&Y is a big four accounting firm. It wouldn't surprise me the above seven companies do significant business with E&Y.

Offtopic, but i am running an IPB and all i can say is that its terrible. It has for sure a lot of Potential but it has so many bugs that i get frustrated off it.

Poor TsinJu and XF is so easy and quick!

Anybody actually asked KAM if they only continue work on xenforo if the lawsuit is over? I remember reading a post from Kier saying that development will continue when the lawsuit is over, but what if the lawsuit gets delayed again and again? I mean it's perfectly possible that the lawsuit will be delayed until next summer. But there is only so much people can take.

The final date of the trial seems to be really "final." I don't think IB has any other tactics to stall this lawsuit any longer than it has. I feel and think that the end is near.

The judge presiding the case implored that the lawsuit is settled before the case is heard. It's very likely that the judge is sick and tired of this legal arm wrestling by IB. xenForo continues to beat IB at their own game. While the judge is unpredictable, he makes quick judgements. This is based on what we've read elsewhere about him (he has a wiki page, google him).

If the case is delayed, IB is in worse trouble than being perceived as "the bad guy."

To the first part, that the lawsuit will be delayed, I see no basis for this speculation. Anything is possible- but there is nothing to indicate this is a likelihood (though, if you mean that it could be delayed until June 2013 or a month or two later...well, it is possible. But the judge in this case has stated his desire to get this case resolved and previously set a trial date in Jan...that is not going to happen, but I see no reason why this case would not be resolved before the "summer." I may be wrong, but I doubt it). This case will be resolved on the motions or tried to a jury sooner than later.

As for the second part, if anyone has asked that specific question ("if they will only continue work on" XF if the case is over), I have not seen/heard of this being asked. However, given a win, why would they not? Given a loss (extremely unlikely as that is), they may not be in a position to continue. However, all indications are that there will not be a loss.

I dunno why people keep speculating on the development and etc lol. It's been written in black and white for months and months, even in last August update thread, and just recently with Kier stating "we're not fighting for nothing"... that it's going to continue. And who's to say they ever stopped anyway, for all anyone knows, they've been punching out and testing fixes, patches, and development branches in their "spare time" at their homes since beginning of the lawsuit or last release of XF... and only holding back releases till lawsuit is over? We all know they're around here in general (They love to code and if I were them, I couldn't go long without coding lol), I'm sure they keep eyes open on bug reports, and such as well. Heck, for all anyone knows.. they're up to version 2.5 by now, and fighting themselves daily to not post the release of it lmfao. :p

I agree vVv. They love to code and I can't see them NOT coding for 6 months! For them that would be unnatural.
But I think from my pretty good knowledge of human nature that while they love to code, and will most probably have been coding stuff for sheer relaxation all this time - that's totally different to carrying the stress and pressure of a deadline about it.
Obviously under current stress from the case that would be a crazy thing to carry another stress load on top. Working to a production deadline is totally different to doing bits in your own time when you feel like it.

So I bet there are all kinds of bits n pieces on file possibly quite advanced, as the result of K or M taking time out just to code.
However that's just my reading and I am only a good Witch!

I would however beg us all to be patient a little longer after they win. We must seem like a ravening wolf pack waiting to pounce! They will probably need a short breather so don't let's all jump on them the instant they are acclaimed as conquering kings!
Lovely thought. I have a bottle of mead all ready.

He was coping with a load of nasty stuff to do with his forum, TsinJu and the strain was affecting his outlook. (Not an XF thing a business issue) But he's calming down a lot now which is good to see.

I tend to get pissed off/defensive real quick, and say things out of spite when angry lol. :p But like Morgain said above there, I had alot of stress and such with some XF issues, well it was mainly hosting issues (that resulted the XF issues, which Mike Edge helped clear up by moving me to his hosting last night and I'm super happy now) and some other things that kept frustrating me and I say things out of anger some times, which I need to work on lol. But regardless, what software I use doesn't matter, it's personal choice what I use when I use it lol. I spent money on both licenses. Doesn't make me "traitor" to XF at all, and I'm still using my XF to this day. :) ;) LOL! there, that's something to lol about.. lmfao :p

Nah, but I'm happier with XF though, the usergroup permissions are SO much nicer than WBB permissions. WBB permissions remind me too much of phpBB3 and confusing as hell lol. That's only downfall with WBB for me lol. Each user has to be part of almost every usergroup, depending on what you allow them to have... too much confusion.

sure, but that option isn't available lol. only see "profile", "follow", "ignore" and can't even post on your profile page haha
Wha? Hm. Looks like I need to talk to administrators. :/ Do you go to any other forum than here?
