@Steve F his steve great theme and I've installed in my site...
I just find that when I try to post a reply, if I need to change the text fonts or text size - notice that the drop down menu has all black, it looks like the text itself is black so that I cannot see it until I highlight it. (see attached picture)

Is there a way to fix this?

Blackend (Free version) doesn't really modify templates that would effect that. Last time I checked don't you have to manually add the chat to the templates(or is that just on the free version)?

As for the sub-forums:

Style Properties -> Forum / Node List

Make sure the enable sub-forums in dropdown isn't checked if that's what you want.

Thanks for the help with the Sub-forums! Those now work like a charm. Still not sure how to get TaigaChat Pro to show up....

If you use [bd] Widget Framework:

  1. Upload contents of upload folder to forum root.
  2. Install new addon using addon-TaigaChat.xml.
  3. Set the permissions for all relevant user groups.
  4. Import widget_framework_taigachat_pro.xml from Appearance > Import Widgets - do NOT delete your existing widgets when prompted.
    Then, go to Appearance > List Widgets and enable one of the two available Shoutbox types (Sidebar or Full width), and additionally the ‘Users in Chat’ widget if you desire.
  5. Observe the settings in Home > Options > TaigaChat Pro, especially the top setting (‘Speed mode’) if shoutbox security matters.
  6. If you use XenPorta and wish to include TaigaChat in your portal, upload contents of xenporta/upload folder to your forum root, then in Home > Blocks > Install Block, installTaigaChat.xml, TaigaChatAlt.xml and TaigaChatOnline.xml.

If you DO NOT use [bd] Widget Framework:

  1. Upload contents of upload folder to forum root.

How do I widen the style on my computer?
I ask as I have several sub-forums that are being bunched together.

Check out:

Style Properties -> General -> Page Width Controller, look in the misc box.
 
Do you know how I can push the side column down more, the visitor block is crashing with the navbar.
I have added the widget framework, but I have it on other sites without the issue.

I did remove the search bar because it didn't look great either.
Maybe I messed something up in that process?
