Okay the blog is back up.

I am really sorry about the trouble you went through.
Though I am saying that the support for multisite is a premium option, there is no excuse for leaving your site hosed even if miss configured.

On the next update (which I am planning to do tonight PST), I am adding a master switch in the config.php, which could also be used to disable the multisite functionality in these extreme scenarios.

This looks awesome. Another vote for an importer from LN Blogs. If this works together with Naatans SSO add-on, it would truly be awesome. Are there any hooks included where we could somehow push in some ads by any chance?

Yes, you can limit that through user permissions. Create a group, and only that group gets the "Can have a blog" permission. Then add the people that you want to that group.

Care to elaborate? How is it killing it? It doesn't load? Permanentely redirect.
In your config.php you can add

That will disable all addons, then you can go to the options and remove it, or worst case scenario remove the addon and reinstall

I do offer a $100 professional setup for the subdomain, start a conversation with me if you want that. I did my best to make it straightforward, but every server setup is different and the combination of dns servers, web servers, plugins and rewrite rules can make it really tricky (hence the red warning in the options and the note that support for that will be additional)

Suprised you arent planning guest comments in the same way xenforo handles guest posts -I would have thought its a quite importand feature

I'm playing with the demo on your site http://xfaddons.com/index.php?xfa-blogs/anthony.130/ and noticed that inserting an image full size takes it back to thumbnail when inserting. An issue maybe?

The importer is ready.
This mod should work with the SSO addon since it uses the same user tables as the main installation

It stores the information in it's own tables, there are tables for blogs, entries and comments.

Yeah, that was a bug. Thanks for reporting it. Since it's something simple, it is fixed in this next version already.

No, there is a separate total for blog entries

No, I did not add a search feature, to tell you the truth, I have been using Google to search my site this days, and I seem to throw the search options to the back burner. It is on my list of pending things, though. Not surprisingly not a single member has asked for a search option at my site.

To the main page it is index.php?xfa-blog-home, for the personal page it is index.php?xfa-blogs and it requires a reference to the user information to generate the link

I don't really know, I have not used the nodes as tab add-on
When it is done through template edits, the link is {xen:link xfa-blog, $user}
The blogs themselves are not really nodes, but routes

Yeah, I would just implement the search handler on the Entry and Comment content type
That is the "easy" part, and would give search on the "all content types" section

Adding a new tab for only searching in blogs, searching for author only, only in entries, only in comments, adding a search box in the blogs, making sure that when you search from there you only search in blogs ... that is the long part

Okay, our members have been requesting blogs and this is basically the holy grail of blogs especially IMO the sub-domain thing... is that automatic?

Meaning, once this is set-up will my blog url be "STORMS.mysite.com"?

Also, is this easy to install?
