As for this. The Trophy Extension system incorporates [BD]Medal into XenForo Trophies. Therefore, when users earn a Trophy, they are automatically given a Medal to go with it. It's a paid Add-on but worth it if you want to remove the tedious fact of manually awarding members. There are some drawbacks in that each Medal you award this way is tied directly to the Trophy System which does not account for everything. But it's very easy to create custom Trophies and add medals to go with them.

Do you know more exactly how does it work? Can we still award medals manually, or every medal must be tied to a trophy? Does the trophy list include the medals icons since it awards that medal?
I'm wondering how the integration is, no prints, nothing about it i hope @xfrocks says something about it since he updated such to 1.2

You can still use the Medal system normally and manually award members. What happens is the Trophy System has a new menu option to upload an image. You upload this image and that becomes the new Medal for that Trophy. Only Medals added in this way will be tied to Trophies.

@xIsabel38 pretty said it all. You can still award manually. The trophy list however doesn't show the medal icons, I may look into this soon though.

Can there in future versions be one option to take away medal listing from help?

Most excellent! I'm in no hurry so if we want to wait a bit to see if anyone else wants to contribute that's fine. Otherwise, I'd be willing to split it $20/$15/$15, or something along those lines.

I use Paid [BD]Medal system too and would be willing to pitch in $10.00 for the ability for members to pick what metals they wish to display. All should show by default though.

Is it possible to award a certain medal to the same user more than one time?

I have a monthly competition in my forum and the winner of the month is awarded a medal. So it happens a user wins this competition two or more times.

Thus it would be great if you could give the same medal to the same user more often with a description showing e.g. Award Winner March 2013 and for the second award e.g. Award Winner July 2013...

If you want a different Medal for each month you would have to manually create each one. If you want the same exact medal to be used each time but just have a different month in its description then there is no function for that. You would have to manually recreate the same medal and change the month.

It is a minor error at best. Simply set the amount you want members to have +1. So if you want members to be able to show 5 medals. Set it to 6. If you want them to be able to show 10, set it to 11. If you want them to show every medal they earned, set it to 9,000 or some other insanely high number.

Yes this is an issue, I can confirm that this Mod will display 1 less than what you specify.

You can revoke the permission named "View awarded users in medals list"

Which version of XenForo are you running? Also, please try to switch back to default style to see if it works there.
