Back Button in IE

I've started having a problem with the back button in IE8 and IE9. If you click on a thread then click on the back button, you have to click it 3 times in IE9 or twice in IE8 to get to the previous page. In the history (shown by right-clicking the back button) I can see 2 pages of 'http://platform.twitter.com/widgets/twe...' - the entire url is too long to fit in the menu - before the link to the previous page. Firefox, Safari and Chrome behave properly. You can see what I mean here: http://www.thegazettelive.com/forum/

Does anyone else have this problem or any idea how to fix it?

Thanks.

Disabling the Tweet button seems to fix the problem... it would be good to know why it's causing this behaviour though.

I confirm this issue on my website and also here in xenforo.com, cant get back untill the 3rd click on IE9. this issue shown today only, it seems to be a microsoft update bug

My users are getting this today on our XF board. Anyone else having the same issue and thoughts on a fix or is it the twitter API going nuts again?

I have not had this problem again since the issue with the Twitter API. You could try temporarily disabling Twitter integration and see if that has an effect, but personally I doubt it will.
