AzuCloud - Long Tail SEO Cloud

I never used the VB version so I can't compare them but how is the XF compared in term of functionality? Is there anything in VB that this version doesn't have yet?

The vb version sucks, to put it bluntly. It is a nasty piece of work, you can't use it across products, and its backend management is atrocious... to put it bluntly and all. This is a huge improvement from the VB version.

This mod is working really well but is it possible to make all terms lowercase, in order to improve the looks? Most search engines aren't case sensitive.

I am new to SEO. I read this thread and have some questions.

1. I have XenPorta installed which offers the Keyword Cloud ball. As I understand it, that ball functions the same as the text which AzuCloud offers at the bottom of the pages with the header "Users found this page by searching for...". Is that correct?

2. I wasn't clear from reading this thread. It seems some feel the cloud ball will offer the identical benefits of the text block being offers by AzuCloud, while others feel the ball cannot be properly searched by search engines. Is there a conclusion here? I prefer the ball for it's appearance, but I need to use the most functional solution.

3. Are the keywords added in this Azu box merely text? or clickable links?

4. Can this box easily be moved to the sidebar on all pages as opposed to the footer? Ideally it would be on the sidebar on all pages except forum threads, where it would appear at the bottom.

5. Is the idea behind this box that by adding these words to your site, then when search engines use their crawl engine they will find an additional instance of each word, thereby bumping it's ranking?

Not exactly... its nothing like the cloud ball.

Not sure where that was in this thread, otherwise I would have killed it straight away.

The cloud ball is only an internal tag cloud for users to find most used content pages. This mod is about users phrases from search engines that your page is being found for. Not even close to the same thing, nor concept.

The only discussions I had read about the ball, is that some wanted it to mimic the ball, that is what I knew from past conversations, though the purpose is not the same.

Text

No idea... DI would have to answer this though...

These questions have been answered previously if you read the thread: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/azucloud-long-tail-seo-cloud.8659/#post-119516

If you really want it in the sidebar, it can be done with template modifications. Not exactly trivial though, nor a good idea imo

Does a version exist for XenPortal? Would it be good to have one there? Maybe an aggregate of the entire website or something?

Under and out the way is prob best for something like this. There is no module in xenportal unless you create you'er own
Look nice out the way tho :)

You don't need modules for any third party product, as this uses the active controller from any product that you add into the azucloud options, and it will then function across that products pages you have incorporated the controller for.

I use the majority of jaxels products, and it works across them all respectively and as appropriate, in the same place as the forum, down the bottom as the footer.

I have updated the ball for the next version of XenMedio, it will no default to the text-based cloud for clients that don't have javascript/flash (like search engines).

Hmmm this doesnt seem to be working with version 1.0

Anyone else had issues?

Ok its working on my forum list but not working in the portal or media pages like it used too, i guess a lot of things changed with all the updates so I may have the wrong controller, if anyone has the config for my AdminCP for jaxel add-ons please let me know :)

Currently using;
Code:
EWRporta_ControllerPublic_Portal:portal
EWRmedio_ControllerPublic_Media:media,mediaView,categoryView,playlistView
EWRmedio_ControllerPublic_Media:index,media,mediaComments,categoryView,categories,playlists,mediaView,mediaComments
