XF 1.5 Auto dismiss notices after viewed x times

Can a notice be automatically dismissed after it has been viewed x number of times by a user?

If so, how?

There's nothing built in that would allow this. There isn't any notice view count tracking.

Obviously users can close the notice if they have had enough of it.

But visitors would still see it every time they return.

Display the Close button (ie. "X" in top right hand corner) to Visitors and the hover over text says, "Sign up to close this notice"
