XF 2.2 Article preview shows broken image, but the image is fine in the full article

The image is from media gallery bbcode, displays fine in the media gallery, also displays fine in the article. But the article preview shows a broken image. does anyone know what this issue might be? Thanks

The actual image in the article is

[IMG width="1000px" height="750px"]https://example.com/media/packing-a-musical-instrument-5-jpg.1614/full[/IMG]


(but is in protected directory for dev forum so you won't see it)

I don't know how the get the URL of the broken image image in the preview

I have done some more testing.

I get the issue with any image that is (hot)linked to media gallery. Other linked images are fine, preview shows as expected.

(all images show fine both within the message and in the originals at the media gallery)

@Mike should I report this as a bug or raise a ticket? (Not sure if you work on support tickets for betas?)

EDIT: images show fine on the preview of when the forum is expanded, the issue only happens when it's preview view.

Fixed - Preview view of articles with links to media images show broken image icon on preview

If an article has a link to a media image (inserted eith via the media galley supplied bbcode or via the image icon URL link, then the preview shows a boken image icon. It is fine when the froum is configured as expanded type of article , the issue only happens when it is a preview (grid) type...
