For XF's use case it makes sense to keep the same article image. They are telling you about a feature. But they have also suggested we can use articles as blogs. I do.
Users like to create one blog, and each post is a blog post. I have already had complaints/suggestions that the "Blog" forums always have the same information in forum view even when there have been new posts. Same pics, same text. It's simply bumped.
So the suggestion is to add a setting to update the article image to the latest first image.
This of course is an option.
Article image:
1. First image in first post (current), or...
2. Image will be updated with replies:
a) by author
b) by anyone (we have group blogs as well).
