This is the XenForo version of the wordpress theme Arras.

I've constructed the theme in two versions. One with the original XenForo navigation, and another with a customized navigation drop down to better match the original theme. Live demos of both themes are available here:

Arras - XenForo Navigation
Arras - New Navigation

You may log into the demos with the following accounts, or you can create your own!

Did you get the permission of the original theme developer for this?
Just wanted to say great work on the Arras theme. I was wondering if I could create a matching style for XenForo. I would release the Arras XenForo theme on my site as well as XenForo.com for free.

Please go on ahead and work on it. :)
Looking forward to see the theme

I'm all for releasing this theme for free, after all, Arras is free in the first place.
Hope to see its public release soon!
I'm personally not a fan of recreating themes but this one was too beautiful to not share with XenForo. Sorry for the quotes ^ ^ I'm sure a simple yes would have done for most but that should satisfy the rest.

Hello,

can you make an option, that we can upload our own Logo and set the Path to the Logo in the Settings?
Open up template logo_block. Replace all with:
Code:
<div id="header">
<div class="pageWidth">
<div class="pageContent">
<div id="branding" class="clearfix">
<xen:include template="ad_header" />
<xen:hook name="header_logo">
<div class="logo"><a href="{$logoLink}">
<span><xen:comment>This span fixes IE vertical positioning</xen:comment></span>
<img src="@headerLogoPath" alt="{$xenOptions.boardTitle}" />
</a></div>
</xen:hook>
<span class="helper"></span>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
This will take the logo assigned by the style vars and center it vertically within the height of the header. I have not tested it on an image larger than the height of the header.

I'm satisfied with your response, but I do have a quick question:
I don't use WordPress, but I'd imagine this Arras skin on WordPress has some kind of copyright? Has he allowed you to recreate it without any form of copyright necessary? That'd be strange... especially if it's enforced on the WordPress version.

zy.sg is the original creator, and he asked permission before posting it (or thats what I take from the reply).

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I was just wondering about this:
Copyright
You are welcome to remove any instance of copyright found on this skin. Including the sidebar link back to the official arras theme and the footer link back to XFProud.
I wasn't aware whether the original creator issued permission for it to be recreated copyright-free, that's all.

No worries I know exactly what you're asking. The arras wordpress themes has the option inside the wordpress admin skin manager to remove the copyright. This is not a problem.

wow thanks, Arras is one of my fav wordpress themes so to have one for xenforo too = AWESOME! :D
No problem!

Very nice skin. But please do change the default status forum icons.
You know, I knew someone would mention that and of you we're one I figured! I kinda like the taste of them on this skin but I would be happy to whip up something else by tomorrow. Forgive me. :oops:
