Anyone using Laravel Forge to set up servers? Also, determining server needs...

Hello! I have a 1.x forum that I need to move over to a 2.x installation. I've been on fairly expensive managed hosting for years. I've tried to spin up digital ocean servers in the past and find the process a little cumbersome. Laravel Forge looks like a way to take the pain out of that? Has anyone used it for XenForo?

Also, I'm wondering what the best way to determine CPU requirements? Disk size is easy enough to figure out, but is there any way that I may be missing to determine CPU needs?
