I suppose it wouldn't be that huge of an issue in reality. If the device can fetch the URL Forum Runner should be able to get it. Since Safari/etc supports https on the iPhone/Android/etc, it should be fine.

I can see about supporting this, if its not a ton of work. As an example, you are the first person to request https support since Forum Runner was created a year ago.

I reckon it could just be a case of specifying my HTTPS forum URL on the ForumRunner web site, but it doens't let me save the forum URL as https://

Feature/improvement suggestions

• When users browsing the forum by this app, instead of "Browsing using Forum Runner" in Online Members page, show the version (Android/iPhone/iPad, version 1.5 for example) and the thread that they are reading. That provides good feedback to admin to know which mobile is more popular
• Option to hire avatar

You can see how many users you get from which devices at the Analytics page in the Forum Manager.

1) Ideally, the data will be aggregated into Google Analytics where I can see how many app users use it daily or is it already being done?
2) Hide as in disable just like signature. If you look at this page, XF display the username at the bottom of each post so we don't need the avatar. it will save more space. See attach

Thanks. I don't have either device to realize that.

Can you post some more screenshot of the setting pages in both device? That would help forum admins to better answer their user requests on feature that already present.

These settings are liable to change pretty quickly... and there are a bunch of screens as it is now, and there are multiple devices.. so that would be a large effort to keep those up to date.

Just curious... how long before Likes and alerts on the Android app?

I'm very interested in these two features as well, it's the #1 suggestion I've gotten from my members.

I'm finishing testing Likes. Alerts is the next thing to be done for both platforms.

'I am using ForumRunner for my iPhone. At first, when I clicked on embedded or attached images in posts I could enlarge them. Now I get a notice that no image is there and a black screen where the enlarged image should be.

Perhaps you changed some settings that caused this. Please let me know. Thanks.'

i havent made any changes to options, although i did update from 103 (iirc) to 105 yesterday.
any idea what this could be about? do iphone users need to update their apps? i have no iphone to test anything with.

Android update 1.2.7 has support for "Report" and "Like" that was just pushed out.

A few things have changed with the thumbnail support as well. Please report any bugs on our support forums!

there are two products here... addon for xenforo, and the app for the cellphone. do you have static links that we can visit each and every time there are updates available??

Sorry, could have been more clear. The Android application in the Android Market has been updated with support for Report & Like.

If you are running a forum with Forum Runner and checked "Receive Update Emails" when you registered for your Forum Manager account, you will get notifications to the email you used to sign up with any time the forum software is updated and you are out of date.

Multiquote bug crashes app.
V1.4.4 iPhone 3GS

Steps to replicate:

1. Go to a thread
2. Select the header of first post and tick the box to make the header change to yellow
3. Select second post's header - same routine as above
4. Choose Multiquote Reply from the arrow icon (top right)
5. App crashes instantly, returning user back to iPhone home screen.

I see the issue. Thanks for the report - will fix it in the next update to the iPhone client!
