It works perfect now, but still not working on my index/forum_list page, Extra Portal and shoutbox page.
Though I understand the incompatibility of this addon and taigachat, but I don't know why it didn't work on my forum_list and portal page :/
I can give you test login.

I think my problem is still related on Taigachat pro.
Because for all the page that this addon doesn't work is the page I included taigachat pro widget (forum_list and portal page).

@RoldanLT Thanks for posting those errors. I might know why it's doing that-- maybe. If you send me the URL for your website, with two test logins (I need two to be able to give myself conversations and alerts) then I can try to debug it in the browser console and see if I can determine a work-around.

It's completely compatible with TaigaChat now, thanks to help from @RoldanLT letting me debug things on his site. I'm checking to see if it clears up issues for @toodlez as well. If so, I'll be updating the resource with the new version with all the compatibility fixes. Should be within the next day.

Compatibility fix for Defer JS, TaigaChat, and others

This is a compatibility fix which allows Alert Count to work on forums running Defer JS, TaigaChat* (keep reading), and certain other add-ons and styles which the previous version was incompatible with.

Although it is a huge code overhaul, it does not add any new features. So if you are not having compatibility problems, you do not need to bother upgrading, although it shouldn't hurt anything if you do.

I don't have access to my own running copy of 1.4 right now, but I imagine that as long as the Ajax scripts and notification area templates haven't changed much it should be compatible.

Oh, I couldn't tell from using your site that it was 1.4. I guess I didn't pay enough attention. Yeah, definitely runs on 1.4. I'll update the compatible version list.

Slow down or disable automatic alert checks on mobile devices

This update adds a new option in [Options -> User Alerts] to set a different automatic polling interval (how often the alerts automatically update) for visitors on mobile devices.

Since mobile visitors are less likely to heavily monitor their browser tabs, you can reduce server load by using a higher automatic polling interval to check less frequently or by disabling it by setting it to zero so it only checks on page load. However, you can set them the same if you want to.

Thank you for a wonderful plugin!
Unfortunately since the last 1.5.9 update attached image in the lightbox closes because of poll for new alerts and unread conversations.
Could you please, correct this bug.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the description of this problem. My Xenforo license has lapsed, so I cannot upgrade to 1.5.9 currently to test it. I would need somebody on 1.5.9 to give me a very accurate description of the problem and probably allow me to view the template code for their forum in order to identify the necessary backwards-compatible changes to make. If anybody wants to do that, make me an account on your forum with permission to view templates, then send the login information to me here via PM. Then sometime within about 5 days I should be able to log in, view the appropriate templates, and find out what needs to be changed.
