XF 2.1 Addon for manipulate username after the registration

This is also no request for coding, but my question if we have an add-on here, that manipulates the username after the registration process.
There is an add-on from XON that should avoud that a username is the same like the name of a group, i believe. But probably this affects the registration process before the user is saved. I need an adduser/postsave example to learn from it, please.

That addon just informs you when a new member registers. It doesn't change any of the registration details.

Yes and no. It uses a cronjob, means that nothing is happen just now during the registration.
I need an extended postsave, this i can see in the equal addon from XON maybe.
I can solve my problem with a cron also, but to learn i want to choose the way with extended postsave.
