When checking Facebook or anything else for that matter, I get

The following error occurred:
Your existing password is not correct.
I'm guessing this is because we are using a SSO and our passwords are stored outside of XenForo.
Or is it?

It's possible -- that page has a password field, though it's only checked if you enter something there. It's something that you'd have to handle through your auth handler ideally.
