"Addon authors didn't give us permission to re-host add-ons, then we looked for validation from the company, and when they did not give it to us, we're going to threaten to sue them if they enforce the license terms we are violating."
I'm not entirely sure I follow your logic here...
I'm going to assume you aren't actually this dense and you're just playing dumb, but:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_copyright
Etc.
A basic Google search would tell you that you are wrong.

You give an example without reading the law.
I say Xenforo is not a court. If you have an add-on and this add-on is shared by you, the complaint will complain to the courts, not to XenForo.com. It's not Xenforo's responsibility, it's your plugin. Therefore, for your sake, you can not suspend your XenForo license. Cause it can not show someone else's license. I would recommend to learn a little ban. No forum software is such a ridiculous application. Nobody can punish a prisoner.
Sample licensing rules shown. Includes licensed and freely distributed software. So if you do not have a license, you can not claim anything.
Please do not talk without knowing it.
Our goal is not to argue, but to protect our support sites. We recognize you in our own countries. Instead of honoring you are complaining.
We are not warez sites. We are the support site that promotes your add-ons to people. I condemn the sanction imposed on us. Did you understand?
