i have tried to install but when i set the "set as index controller" i keep getting this:

Your problem is with that Minecraft server status block, not XenPorta. Disable that block for now and then set Xenporta as your index controller. If that works, and it should, then start troubleshooting your block. I suspect you have a permissions (trying to write to the file or directory) error or a misconfigured block.
 
anybody wondering about the extra portals not working properly. I was not able to get it to work myself, but I was able to use "articles" to make a portal like page. Follow the tutorial for globalizing layouts, then add a custom "articles". Once it is saved, you can navigate to it by your-domain.com/articles/<articlename>

From there, I was able to create separate blocks for different newsfeeds and thereby create multiple "portals". To get around forcing your users to type in the address above, just use a redirect.
 
I just setup RecentFeatures slider and i cant get my picture to center. Anyone know what may be wrong? Also with these same setting i cant get recentaccordion to work, any idea whats wrong with that?

I am getting following error when rebuilding thread information .. ACP->Tools->Rebuild Caches->Rebuild Thread Information .. Please advise.

What settings are you in limit threads and Cutoff? Try increassing this.

Alright so after installing a update to my Skin i can no longer make the Set as Index Controller work i check it and it seems to do nutting at all it still goes to /portal/ and my forms just in the main dir /
 
If you want put the portal as index, use Jake Bunce RouterChanger add-on. It's better.

Creating an xml file is confusing, hopefully there will be a built in system in the future like vBadvanced where users can create template blocks and add content easily with html.

yes very much... in fact i have been bumping posts in the corrspoding forums just to see if it shows up but in vain. :(

I must have uninstalled, installed 4-5 times too... re-uploaded the files... and what not :(

I tried to upgrade my existing v1.5.3 to v1.5.6 .. but my slider stops working with following codes shown inside slider

it happened to me yesterday... The problme was i just uploaded with the new upload files and forgot to upgrade... i realized my mistake and upgraded with the latest xml fine and it turned out fine. Have you upgraded porperly...?
