Ah I see....How do I remove the slider from the page It looks like the portal page and article page have merged together

I assume you still have the recentslide, recentnews , etc blocks in your article layout, remove it

You have a layout for "Articles" right?

What blocks do you have selected for that layout?Just drag the unwanted ones to the disabled blocks area at the bottom.

Sorted. Thought It would be simple... Just didn't enter anything in the ID box now everything Is an article Well... Everything in the Recent News block. Thank you for your help!

Im using a route changer addon. Shouldn't that work also? index -> forums, portal -> index

Are you talking about the feature inside XenPorta?

Wasn't working for me so I used a 3rd party add on. I disabled it inside xenporta and used the 3rd party one

Hi all, I am trying to set up a seperate layout for a "news" page. I've done some reading and it seems you can do this by leaving the layout type set to nothing, and then just input "news" into the ID box. However in doing this, I cannot actually access the page. I have tried both www.hackslashrepeat.com/index.php?portal/news/ and www.hackslashrepeat.com/portal/news/index. Neither work!

Any suggestions?

Also, a stupid question but what exactly is an "article"? What are "articles"?

Nothing "happened" It still comes in the package. If you are talking specifically of the fb group block in the image it is just at its default state. Go to Xenporta->Blocks->FaceBook and put in your Facebook Page Profile ID

A Recent Features block that worked by taking the first x threads from a forum(s) that you choose and then pulling the first attachment would be really nice. This would allow for automated recent features slideshows.
