How do XenMake Protected Categories user and role protected categories work?
You can set any of your forum categories to only be available to specific logged in users or entire user roles. Simply choose this option for the category. Customers with the correct role or user will automatically be able to access the category when they log into their user account.

Does it work with sub-forums?
The add-on is fully compatible with XenForo sub-forums. Protect a parent category, and all its sub-forums are automatically protected in the same way. The benefit is that if you have hierarchical forums, you don't have to protect each sub-forum individually - just protect the parent category.

After maintaining a forum category, forums and other sub-forums automatically inherit the same protection. Protect all areas of your category in seconds.

Installation:

1. Download XenMake-ProtectedCategories-1.0.0.zip and unzip it.
2. Copy the src/addons/XenMake/ProtectedCategories directory to your server.
3. From the Admin Control Panel Install the add-on.
4. Admin Options setings admin.php?options/groups/xm_protectedCategories
5. You can configure the [XM] Protected Categories plug-in from the Style properties page.
