Hello everyone,

this is the next beta release of XenCentral 2.0.0 version, that solves the problem with banner images uploaded in 1.x version not being visible and not saved in Admin Panel. Now if no new images are added the old ones will be kept in place, otherwise once you upload any new image the banner will switch to new images.

In this version we have also implemented responsive design in My Ads page at front-end allowing effective banner management from mobiles and tablets.

This is the next release of XenCentral Ad Server implementing a completely rewritten banner delivery logic, that makes it possible to have completely responsive banners that match the embedding site background color and automatically adjust the text color to provide the best contrasting. The delivery code will be smaller in size and embed the ads completely asynchronously not delaying the overall page load.

Hello everyone,

This is the next major release of XenCentral Ad Server. Here are the features and fixes available in this release:

1. Implemented User Zones/Campaigns. This allows the users to create their own campaign and upload unlimited (configurable) number of ads to their campaigns. Later they can get an embed code to embed this zone anywhere they want, and have full overview of statistics of how many times their zones/banners are displayed, clicked etc. Click-based payment option available for User Campaigns. Users buy credits and pay for each click their ads get. The ads automatically de-activate when their credit is over. This way users can use your site as an ad server to serve their ads anywhere on internet. The price per click is set in admin options and can be set per-zone basis as well. User Campaigns are usergroup permission-based.

2. Banner images are migrated to attachment system, both on front-end and back-end pages using the same interface as attachments.

3. Banner images can be cropped right at the time of uploading, and the cropper forces dimension/ratio based on zone settings. Error is displayed on saving if the image wasn't cropped appropriately.

4. Option to set the blacklisted websites, clicks from which will not count and the ads will not load on that sites.

5. Banner tags implementation. This implementation will be used in upcoming beta 2 version to generate embed codes based on tags.

6. Admin page to manage user credits.

7. Full list of credit transactions kept in user account and admin

8. Option to randomize ads inside a zone. So, if Rotate Banners is disabled, all banners created in the zone will be displayed at once, but with this option they will be in random order on every page load.

9. Post-related location enhancements, allowing to display the ads on multiple positions (e.g. in 1st, 3rd and 7th post), also on each x-th post (e.g. format %10 will show the ad on 1st, 11th, 21th post etc.).

The release is marked as beta due to large amount of features and rewritten code, but it is stable and fully tested locally. We appreciate your input to fix any possible bugs and will address any issues reported immediately. Some small new features may also be implemented.
