As of March 2, 2017, this add-on has been taken over by LPH. Support may be found on the Tux Reports website.
When using the XenForo quick search (as opposed to using the advanced search form), XenForo will by default present search results as mixed posts and threads. Therefore there are often multiple results referring to the same thread. If not using this add-on and You'd like to have the search results as threads only, you'd need to go to the advanced search form and check 'Display results as threads'.
This tiny add-on does only one thing. It changes so that a quick search (using the search bar) displays results as threads. The add-on has no options. Users can still use the advanced search if they like to display search results mixed with posts. This add-on doesn't alter the way how the advanced search works. Neither does it alter the original functionality when making a quick search (using the search bar) for a specific forum or when searching within a thread.
Please remember to rate my add-on. Do You think it does what it promises? Thanks!
