Timed Spoiler 1.2

Description:

Displays a spoiler BB Code in a message after a given period of time.

This add-on was developed for a gaming forum which allows game clues to be posted and revealed at a later time. Hopefully it will serve a useful purpose in other situations as well.

Features:

• Spoiler BB Code can be set to be revealed between 1 ~ 999 hours.
• Timed Spoiler title shows exactly what time Spoiler BB Code will appear.
• Quoting a post with a Timed Spoiler will not reveal the Spoiler. Only after the Timed Spoiler has expired is the post updated to show a normal Spoiler.
  
• User Group Permissions determine which user groups can use the Timed Spoiler feature.
• Timed Spoiler link only displayed if user is allowed to edit the post.
• All phrases start with timedspoiler_ for your convenience.

Installation:

1. Download timedspoiler_v1.2.zip and unzip it
2. Upload the Andy directory to your server, the correct location is library/Andy
3. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the Install Add-on page
4. Upload the addon-TimedSpoiler_v1.2.xml file
5. Click the Install Add-on button

User Group Permissions:

Set the administrator and any other user group to Allow in order to add Timed Spoilers.

Database modifications:

This add-on will create a table called xf_timed_spoiler in your database.
