    Features:
    • RSVP button is added to a message with a single click.
    • Members who have RSVP'ed will show in the message below the RSVP button.
    • Members can easily remove their previously added RSVP registrations.
    • Administrator can set the RSVP Expiration Date for each event.
    • All phrases start with rsvp_ for your convenience.
    Installation:
    1. Download rsvp_v2.6.zip and unzip it.
    2. Upload the Andy folder to your server. The correct location is library/Andy.
    3. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page.
    4. Upload the addon-Rsvp_v2.6.xml file.
    5. Click the Install Add-on button.
    User Group permissions:

Set the Administrative user group permission to Allow. This will allow only the Administrator to add an RSVP button. Additionally if you have moderators, you can set the Moderators group permission to Allow as well.

How to add a RSVP button into a message:
    1. Create a new thread.
    2. Click the Thread Tools.
    3. Click the RSVP Add link.
Note: When editing the message, make sure you don't write any text below the RSVP code as that area is reserved for the members who have RSVP'ed.

    RSVP List:

To view the RSVP List, add to your forum URL the following "rsvp/list".

    Database modification:

This add-on creates two database tables:

    xf_rsvp
    xf_rsvp_expire_date

    Questions and Answers:

Q: What happens when the RSVP Expire Date is set?
A: Lets say you set the RSVP Expire date to Jan 1st 2016, after this date the "Click here to RSVP" button will show a message indicating "The RSVP for the event has expired".

Q: Can you allow members to create an RSVP for their own threads?
A: No. I have found that members simply won't do this, so that function is not available. This is an admin or moderator function only.

RVSP from Andy is a great addition for any forum which plans on scheduling events which you would like members to RSVP and a must for anticipating how many members are planning on attending the event. Andy your attention to detail is impressive. Keep up the great work! Without some of your add-on’s our forum would not be as active as it has become. Nor would it be such a cool forum to belong. Thanks for the countless hrs of hard work you have put into all your add-on’s.

RVSP from Andy is getting better and better. The new function enable the user to see a page with all the events and RSVP listed so that the events manager can see what's going one without going in each single event's thread. Beautiful work Andy!

Using this, along with AndyB's CALENDAR add-on, makes it very fast and convenient to set up any events on your forum. Then, users can respond with RSVP information and your event will begin to take on a life of it's own. This add-on really makes it easy for users to respond and get more involved. Highly recommended!
