Once the Resource Manager is released, you may very well be purchasing it as a replacement for managing various current resources you already have at your forums spread across threads with attachments.
With that in mind, you will want a way to change the dates on the Resources that you create so the resources remain in the correct chronological order.
My add-on adds a new permission controlled option that will allow you to change the date of a resource:
Clicking the relevant link will bring you to an overlay where you can choose a new date for the Resource:
The add-on prevents you from setting a future date:
Once you click the submit button, the date you've chosen is converted to a timestamp and updated on the resource.
THINGS TO BEAR IN MIND
The add-on does not allow you to alter the current "update" date, nor does it update the date of the attached discussion thread.

- Download the zip file.
- Extract its contents to your hard drive.
- Upload the contents of the upload folder to the root of your XenForo installation.
- Complete install via the Admin CP using the provided XML file.
