Where are backups stored?
By default, Backup Vault selects a private directory outside the public document root. Custom paths inside the XenForo directory and symbolic-link paths are rejected.
Can a backup be restored from AdminCP?
Yes. Restore runs as a protected XenForo background job after preflight checks, a one-time recovery plan and a mandatory safety backup. Emergency CLI commands remain available.
Which languages are included?
English, German, Croatian, Turkish, Russian and French. The add-on can follow the current XenForo language or use a selected fallback.
Is this suitable for production?
This is a free public beta. Always test backup and recovery on an isolated staging installation before relying on it for production recovery.
