8thos Bar is a floating user bar inspired by Facebook's user bar that features navigation visitor tab links, an avatar that lets you change your avatar upon click, style selector, back to top link that brings you to the header and a search bar. If you are a moderator and above, the admin link is shortened to say Admin CP and the moderation queue and reported items links and alerts only show when there is actually an alert.

Perquisite: Must have the Template Modification System installed.

Directions: Unzip the contents and install the addon.

Upgrade Instructions: Just upgrade as normal.

Incompatibilities: 8thos Navigation Avatar will double your avatar so uninstall that. This addon is not compatibile with Anthony Parson's xF Open Framework Userbar TMS edits. You would have to delete the TMS Userbar edits in that addon and search and delete all references of xfofUserbar in your templates and CSS. This addon is not compatible with your existing moderator bar edits so revert your own changes to your moderator_bar, navigation, navigation_visitor_tab and page_container templates.

Credits: This TMS addon is inspired by Floris XenFan's Userbar, Forsaken's Move Visitor Tabs to Moderator Bar resource and Cezz Floating Navigation Bar with tips from Jake Bunce, Shelley and Will.

Random: Appearances/Styles/Style Property Groups/Color Pallete/ @primaryLightish controls the bottom border color of the 8thos Bar.

Problems: If you are having issues with this addon it's because one of those templates has been changed from the default Master Template. Your templates would have to be reverted for this to work, or you would have go into the TMS edits of 8thos Bar and make sure the text that is being replaced, including the spaces, matches your template. That's just how the TMS system works.

This addon uses string replace for certain parts of the following templates:

header
moderator_bar
moderator_bar.css
navigation
navigation_visitor_tab
page_container
page_container_js_body
search_bar.css

Flexile Users:

Includes an extra addon file just for Flexile users. This bar does not include the search bar and both the style and position of moderator bar links from Flexile are unchanged. You must revert navigation_visitor_tab template in Flexile to get this to work or create a TMS edit that removes the Flexile avatar in navigation_visitor_tab.

had to modify for aurora but saved me a lot of time :)
Hardcoded text and some graphical anomalies makes it only three stars at my place.
Outstanding. Should be part of XenForo core. Makes the community more user friendly and easy to access.
Awesome…Thanks a ton for this.
