No, there is no cron for this add-on. It just manually puts the account into the specified user group if the license is valid. Nothing about this process gets stored permanently.

How does a member go about removing their own validated status? Where do we remove it via the AdminCP?

I don't think they can, I think you have to remove the additional group manually

Not out of the box. There are add-on allowing users to manage their own user groups. But I don't think you really want this...

Secure Updates

This update brings the validation in line with XenForo's update to HTTPS, which was long over due.

You may upgrade your XML, but the only change is in the files.

Just a note to say that v1.1 is in development and has the current feature set:

• Option to require users to revalidate their license at a set interval.
• Automatically revalidates users at a set interval. If the revalidation fails, alert the user of such and remove their validated status.
• Require unique license tokens per user (this requires the license to be revalidated as well, as that is the only way tokens are stored).
• Remove a users validation and block them from revalidating.
• Permissions to user the license validation.
• Option to change the user state to valid when a valid license is validated.

Correct.

Free add-ons are rarely deleted though - in most cases they are just marked as unmaintained.
