Does X have an API yet where you can tell if a channel is live? Unlike other streaming websites, X is completely loaded through javascript, so you can't simply CURL scrape their HTML for metadata.

Yes, I agree with you. I want to buy this excellent addon and want to know how easy add code of games in options. But not only for Twitch, and for others streaming services.

If you type the name of the game into the spelling box, it will search for the ID automatically.

@Jaxel Following up. Please consider login with Twitch, the TH addon that had it has been removed from resources now and the add-on no longer works trying to authorize your account to Twitch.

@Jaxel for some reason Kick streams are no longer connecting to Kick.com. I think something may have changed on their end? I believe their API updated a lot recently. An update might be required? You can create an app (like Twitch) now here - https://docs.kick.com/getting-started/kick-apps-setup

So hopefully we can get this working again with proper embedding?


Also, I have an issue with connecting with Youtube again keeps giving me a server error whenever I have it enabled.....

I've got the new Kick API all done for the next update.

As for YouTube, what channels are you having problems with? I am able to scrape every YT channel I've tried, without issue.

  • I honestly can't remember why I rewrote it, just that something was broken. I rewrote it a year ago, but never released the update because I was having compiling issues with XF 2.3.6, which weren't fixed until XF 2.3.7... and then I just forgot about it.
• Completely rewrote the Kick integration.
  • Kick finally released their API development platform, and shut down their old "unpublished" API which we were...
