Yeah. I saw that hence my ‘oops. Thread hadn’t updated’ edit. They weren’t, but he has and the issue is resolved two posts above yours.
Do you have the thread showing as an article? Or did you disable article viewing. If you disable article viewing, you've disabled the thread's ability to see the article information, so it wouldn't know if the thread is already an article or not.@Jaxel, was just editing a promotion in my dev and notice that it say "Promote to article" instead of "Edit article promotion" even though the thread was already promoted to an article on the portal. Works fine, just shows the wrong text. Minor, but something to look at when you're working on Xenporta next.
Ah, that might be it. I'll check and see. I rolled back my dev and redid my whole upgrade this morning to try to smooth out some issues and may have changed that setting along the way.Do you have the thread showing as an article? Just gonna give my query a little bump for @Jaxel's attention.Hi @Jaxel - on 8wayrun your home button points to https://8wayrun.com and forum button points to https://8wayrun.com/forums/
On my forum using XenPorta the home button points to https://strategygaming.net/news/ and the forum button to https://strategygaming.net/forums/
What setting to I need to change to remove the /news/ part of the URL in the root?
It is set up as:
Code:Board URL: https://strategygaming.net Index page route: news/ Root breadcrumb: Home Home page URL: https://strategygaming.net Link logo to home page URL: Yes
Thank you.
Promote a thread to a feature.Have read FAQ section here, have look in all possible places that they may exist (eg option), but nowhere I found where I can add content (photos) to the slider.
Reading FAQ I found how to setup the widget. But nothing about adding content.
Any idea?
I just bought the add on and use manuel installation process but I cant see the add on on admin panel. Help me please
Any update for this feature request? Do you consider to implement it?@Jaxel just curious if you might be interested in adding two things:
- numbered pagination at bottom of page
I don't mean to speak for the author, but I've not really seen any requested features added to this add-on. The author charges a once-off fee, so you should probably consider this add-on to be feature complete. Other authors charge ongoing maintenance fees and so it is reasonable to expect some continuing development from them.Any update for this feature request? Do you consider to implement it?
I would appreciate a pagination for long articles a lot.
