There is currently no version of Xenporta that supports XF 2.3. If you upgrade your XF version to 2.3 you will need to uninstall Xenporta (see my earlier post and Jaxel's response.
Sorry, I saw wrong. If a version that supports xenporta 2.3 is released, will updating the latest version cause problems in this case?
No one can tell until the new version is released and tested...
XF2.3 completely changes JavaScript in XenForo. It's basically a completely conversion from jQuery to vanilla ES6 JavaScript. So pretty much all JavaScipt in all my addons will break... thankfully I've tried to program all my addons to fallback silently on JS failures, but it definitely ruins some functionality. Most of my addons will work on a basic fundamental level, but not any of the jQuery stuff.
XenPorta is the biggest hiccup because much of it uses third-party libraries that require jQuery. So I will need to rewrite much of it (masonry, infinite scrolling, feature slider, etc) in order for those features to work again. It's going to be a lot of work.

is there any idea if there will be versions will work with 2.3 ?
As far as I know, xenforo has completely removed jquery support. How will the addon that will work within Xenforo work with jquery? Correct me if I'm wrong.

It seems like alot of people will have to give up XenPorta if they want 2.3.
Ideally Xenforo 2.3 install would warn people "you have 7 addons not verified to work with 2.3" ... but I don't think things are setup that way.
Are you serious? xenporta is my most indispensable addon. @Jaxel Can you explain this situation? Will xenporta really not work on xenforo2.3 version?
