xF-Wordpress Bridge [Paid] [Deleted]

Would still like to see the comments taken over as a forum post, but appear on the main page. Right now, it defeats the purpose - comments and forum posts are separate and unrelated - that's not how it should be in my opinion.

The other WP bridge did this, but the support was pretty bad. I'd happily pay more to see this feature implemented.

Hi.

When i click buy do i get to your forum on your own site but i can't see any "buy upgrade" in there.
You have to go to the User menu and click on Account Upgrades. I also spent some time figuring this out before buying it.

I also think this would be a good option. I have implemented this on my site too and xenforo on /community/ directory. It would be great if the username in the comment goest to the forum member link too.

So am I right in thinking that this doesn't create a thread for the post?

I want it so that each article creates a thread on the forum and then comments on there, appear on the site and vice versa. I'm guessing that this can't do that?

Thanks.

Quick newby question. So if I use this bridge is there a way I can limit access to the WP panels to just admins? Does anyone have an example of the bridge being used on their site? Thanks

I already own a wordpress site http://www.gamehandout.com that has over 80 members on it, if I were to buy this, add it to a new xenforo on the website http://www.forum.gamehandout.com which if you notice xenforo isn't on there yet. Will this program sinc the existing users of my wordpress to XenForo, or would they all have to re-register to the xenforo, seeing as it uses xenforo's member system?

You need to first register and then visit the account upgrades section.

Is there a way that when we click the name of the user in the comment we get redirected their Xenforo profile? I tried this on my site but there is no link. http://gamesdealers.com/coupons/killzone-shadow-fall-for-ps4-48-99/#comment-2

Right now the plugin just redirects the author from the post. As for other things the plugin is working good with Avatars and login sync!

This can be done, however, you'll need to do some editing of your theme files. Find the place where the comments are generated and then follow this tutorial:

Hi,
If someone quote a reply of a comment in a WP entry..will the user get a XF alert?

No, not at the moment.

Yes, xenForo usergroup are mapped to WordPress usergroups. This should allow you to limit any usergroup on WordPress as you see fit using WordPress role permission systems.

Use this addon to import WordPress users to xenForo http://xenforo.com/community/resources/wordpress-3-x-users-only-to-xenforo.1166/

Then you can use the bridge to keep their details synced and any new registrations on xenForo will then automatically be copied over to WordPress.

Hello, I have registered and paid for this plugin @ the main website. Though I am not receiving a confirmation email nor do I see a 'Resources' section to download the files.

My username at the forum is: Crayz

There seems to be something wrong with the email server sending out emails to personal domains. I, however had promptly validated your registration. You can find the release in the "Releases" section.

It should send you to the url you are saying, but the comment should be posted. I just tried posting a comment on that post and its working fine.

A member of mine cannot login, register, or reset his password. When he tries anything he goes tohttp://www.gamehandout.com/forum/index.php?login/login and says it's a white screen. When he says he lost his password he never gets it, and the above error pops up.
^ just tested this out and it does link you to http://www.gamehandout.com/forum/index.php?login/login which is a white screen.
