er?Do you think there's a change in order?

You haven't seen phpBB, SMF, Flaurum, and the majority of forum software?Xenforo is the only forum I have seen without a calendar.
I've done hundreds of migrations to Xenforo and less than a dozen have asked to migrate their calendar. Just because you think it's an important feature, doesn't mean it is to most people. Why should they put their energy into something only a small minority wants, especially since there are good calendar add-ons?I even looked at one forum which had the calendar as a choice.
There have been 7 releases of the 2.3 branch since June of 2024.The development had turned to dust unfortunately.

Welcome to the fold!Am still getting used to things after 13 years of being away from forums.
Any update on this? Most accurate date we have at the moment is some time in 2024.
Careful, he will tell you to "get a new hobby".Any update on this?
Careful, he will tell you to "get a new hobby".
Went to Vegas for CES, shot around 50+ videos and came back just to find out there is no explanation about the delay. Not for 2.4 or 3.0. My license is expiring soon and I see no reason to renew it.Careful, he will tell you to "get a new hobby".
They’re clearly letting licenses expire before flipping the switch on the update that forces mass renewals.Went to Vegas for CES, shot around 50+ videos and came back just to find out there is no explanation about the delay. Yes, there is.came back just to find out there is no explanation about the delay
Missed that one. Thanks.Yes, there is.
Let me address a few concerns floating around.
I apologise for the recent silence. Work on XenForo 2.4 is ongoing. A new HYS is coming soon, and we are targeting a release for some point in 2026. As for 2.3.8, we’re aiming to release that before Christmas, or shortly after the New Year.
To be blunt, this year has been incredibly difficult for the team personally. We've faced a wave of health issues, bereavements, and family emergencies. When a small team gets hit with this much "real life" all at once, productivity takes a hit. It’s noticeable, and we know we didn't get it right this...
Updates do not force renewals, older versions continue to work. I’m sure some people are waiting for an update before renewing but it isn’t compulsory to renew.the update that forces mass renewals.
Your reply assumes "forced" only means "software stops working." That’s not what I meant.Updates do not force renewals, older versions continue to work. I’m sure some people are waiting for an update before renewing but it isn’t compulsory to new.
Well it assumes they are forced, ie they have no choice in the matter. Short of xenForo holding a gun to your head if you don't renew I can only think of one realistic reason for them being forced which would be if the software stops working.Your reply assumes "forced" only means "software stops working."
If you time a major update when you know a bunch of licenses are expiring/lapsed,
Put the crazy helmet hat on...This is next level tinfoil conspiracy thinking.
