xenReviews took about half the funding this did and I can at least install that on my forum. I'd hope that $5,000 gets a Beta out soon.

I'd also like to add that it has been just under 5 months since xenReviews met its funding goal and from the very start they have been incredible at communicating and working with those that invested. @Jaxel could take a few pages from them.

Thats just it.. I really never did expect this out in a timely manner.. I've been saying all along we wont see a stable product until early 2015.. However im very disappointed that the last official word in this thread where the crowdfund was first mentioned that hes busy playing childrens games. No indication of squat.. three soft deadlines missed and no idea what the product will look like let alone what it will do, I suppose we could be making suggestions but why bother with no indication of weather they are being seen, heard or read.. Whatever this particular crowdfund is a joke at best..

I wouldn't write off all crowd funding just because of one bad experience. I think the lesson here is to be careful and do some research on the developer first. I don't think the problems with this particular crowd funding come as a complete shock to everyone. There's some great coders on here, but their record of support and communication should really be considered when doing something like this.

I still don't get what people are worried about. Everyone knew that Jaxel doesn't communicate much until there's something worth discussing. I'm expecting a fully working beta version to just appear at random with no notice within the next few months and I'm not sure why others expect differently.
