...There was no information at the beginning either. No clear road map, no projected completetion date, no feature list, nothing really..
 
I was wondering at a possibility of ~100 of us making a request to KAM to consider developing a CMS. There clearly is a demand and if 73 could participate in the crowd-fund; I'm sure we'd have a bigger number supporting the official add-on.

Not sure if that would work though. KAM clearly are following their own roadmap and our best hope is that they have the CMS planned.
 
For those of you who dropped over a hundred bucks I was wondering how the beta testing is going?

It's not yet (well I've heard nothing).

I"m not sure why people are surprised by this though. It's how Jaxel works and everyone knew that before going into this. I'm happy to let him get on with it and let us know when something is ready.
 
My question is: why we don't create a crowfund to a REAL basic CMS? I'm waiting for this for years...

Yeah im gonna give that a go next.. Oxy News Portal is pretty sweet with a sharp UI to, but i do like my sidebars so that kinda hurts it a little...

And that exactly is the reason why i never wanted to fund it. Jaxel has a very bad attitude regarding communication and support. Why trust someone who was not trustful with his other mods?

You can have sidebars with Oxy too. In fact all portal add-ons support widget framework.
 
I think the unique TRUE alternative of Xenporta is Extraportal...the other addons have different uses...

You can't compare an addon like Featured Threads to Xenporta...i don't have to explain that.

Yes, there are also the Oxy addon, the custom home of borbole, that works if you just need to have the lastest threads in homepage...but if you to show contents of Resource Manager, Xenmedio, Xengallery and other addons and widgets, there are only 2 choices for you now: Xenporta & Extraportal.
