XF 1.5 XenForo/vB Redirect Issue

Since our migration in 2013 our traffic has never fully recovered. I believe it's due to a redirect error, which I've confirmed using this add-on. In one day we have over fifty pages of 404 errors.

I'm sure there's a rewrite we can use to fix this, I just have no idea what it might be. We're running NGINX. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
