XF 1.3 Xenforo using old database

I have moved my xenforo database and web server recently and i've updated the config.php with a localhost database, somehow other applications on the website are still accessing my old database. How is this possible?

"Other applications," like not XenForo?

XenForo has only library/config.php. Other applications may have their own configs.

So i'm using this API plugin for my server which connect to my xenforo database with an API key but for some reason now that I've moved my website and database but it's still using the old database? The weird thing is that there's no apparent reason why it's still using the database because the old database isn't entered anywhere.... very odd

There are some possible explanations depending on exactly what is happening.
