Hello,

I'm looking for a new host. If money isn't a problem.
Witch host is the best for a xenforo forum?
When working with wordpress their were companies that are specialised in wordpress hosting. Does this exist for xenforo?
It must be fast, reliable and i would be nice if the company has servers neir amsterdam.
Any suggestions?

At the end of the day hosting is hosting.

XenForo works from basic Godaddy hosting up to multi-clustered dedicated servers.

Your best bet is to find a reliable, well reputed host, research them and see what others have to say.

I know many here use Nimbus hosting, and are thrilled with their support.

Do you have a link to your site?
Or are there other sites? I see the recommended ones on their site but i would like to see it per plan?

I believe @Mike Edge still does hosting, and he's pretty reliable.

I sure do. I don't currently have a web site as I do everything on a custom quote based on clients needs. As far as I know, we are the only hosting provider to offer the Litespeed xenForo cache too, at no extra charge.

We're with Nimbus, and so are many of our customers. We've been with them since the very beginning, and they are hands down the easiest host I ever worked with. They are fast, always willing to help, and affordable. They don't oversell, their staff is competent, and they've gone beyond what I would expect from them in the form of support.

I'm also with Nimbus. Superb migration service (they did everything, one day my forum and WP site was on the old host, the next it was on Nimbus). Very pleased with reliability and speed. I'm on Tornado (£30pm) but this is mostly down to massive legacy video files pushing my file size requirements beyond the £20pm package. You can also up/down spec as required if you have peak periods. For info, I had up to 1000 users online in my peak period in 2013 on the £40pm package at it still ran at light speed.

I don't know what latency will be like between NL and UK but it's probably better than between US and UK.

I'm also with Nimbus. Recently moved using their free migration service and it was superb and painless. Good support from knowledgeable people and I couldn't be happier.

Located in Amsterdam. After trying many known hosts, this is the best hosting company I know of in terms of support. You can send them an email and get a better pricing than they quote on their website.

I have send them yesterday morning a mail to Nimbus.
Still no response, there goes their 2 hour window...(n)

You have to remember that most Sales Departments for hosts are not 24/7. Support most definitely is, but most Sales is M-F during business hours. If you sent their Sales staff an email on Sunday, it's not surprise that you didn't receive a reply.

Sunday i can understand but it is tuesday now. I expected an answer from them by now. Still nothing.

I cannot answer for Nimbus obviously but this is most unlike them. I do know that Tim has ultra recently moved house so they are (were?) a very key man down.... this has not affected my site, or any other site that I know of and i've had very swift resolutions to a ticket yesterday so I know tech support is unnaffected. Maybe there is a sales backlog due to Tim moving house or perhaps your contact was never received? I would use the live sales chat on their site which I've noticed is turned on most UK business hours. I would definitely try them again, you'll be glad you did that I can promise.

I don't work for them haha, but I am one very happy customer.

If you're looking for a VPS, take a look at Linode.

If you aren't too familiar with the unmanaged environment, I don't mind helping you setup the VPS (free).
