There is always drama isn't there. Lessee, across the years its been SMF, vB, Joomla!, WP, that's just some bigger players. Just think about why many things got all forked up (see what I did there?) and how hard it still is to navigate the path to the bridges. My pie, see?

One person posted a YT video about an unpleasant site (unlicensed) which resulted in a flood of tickets.

We asked them to remove it as the site had nothing to do with us and was running XF unlicensed, but they refused.

According to the Gospel of @James, that's your fault, not that of the ignorant person complaining.

His side of it will be total and absolute drivel. (He posted it on the other site, so we already know it is full of factual errors and hyperbole).

So no, he wont be getting unbanned. As staff we have wasted too much time on this one person, and as far as we are concerned we are done with him and going back to business as usual, making kick ass forum software.

Oh well, thought it might get shot down in flames, but worth a go.

Ok, first of all I'm glad I'm not the only one who has thought Opus X is just Tracy finding a way back here.

But thank you for thinking I might be Tracy.
I've known him for 10 years and really respect him.
I have in that time discovered that he does not put up with what he calls BS.
Despite his bluntness he will tell you actually what he thinks.
If you can not handle that, that is on you.
I can respect someone that will tell me what they actually believe and not what they think I want to hear.
Sadly, my medical issues are resulting in me not being that active on my site, much less anywhere else.
It is interesting when one is concerned with losing mobility, like removal of legs from the knee down, how insignificant the game playing that some do actually is.
So, you do you.
Meanwhile the rest of us will continue dealing with what is fact/life.

While that's largely true, there is the small problem that even if you bring actual evidence to the party, but it happens to contradict Tracy's world view, it will be wrong. And Tracy will argue black is blue until the end of time, and disregard nuance and subtlety in the process.

Not my site, although I do sometimes visit it. I think it's been a few weeks since I've been over there, but feel free to check yourself.
I do understand that the current admin is along time script user that chooses not to broadcast their identity because of certain people?

That's fine. I couldn't care less what you think of me. If me supporting this software because I think it's the best one available for my sites is considered being an XF worshipper, then cool, I'm that.

i am about ready to wash my hands of xenforo or running any site.
sadly what I hoped for from other admins is not what reality has shown.
in the end i have more important concerns.
i had hoped to use xenforo as a resource income to supplement my disability income.
but that has not panned out.
and much of that is because i have not been able to be active on my site due to recent health issues.
meanwhile you have license holders here wanting to make fun.
and that itself is very telling as to the supposed friendly and welcoming atmosphere of this script.
i have been warned about the xenforo faithful.
but i tried to ignore them until they show their banner.
the do leave a nasty taste in ones mouth.
