Xenforo 2 translation

Hello, I'd like to translate XF2 in italian but I'm interested in translate just the frontend, not the backend. Question is: It's possible to do that selecting just the frontend phrases not choosing the by hand? Are the frontend phrases separate from the backend ones or do I've to select the frontend phrases manually as I've done in XF 1.x?

Phrases are not separated between front end and back end, so you would need to identify them manually.

This will be great to have. @Mike please consider adding something like this in the core. I cannot stress more how important it is to be able to selectively translate just the public interface.
