XenFans new XenForo style... gotta love it

Carl, you're always negative with everything I post here or is posted about me. So there's no surprise there.

Not negative towards you - just i dont feel the topic is best warranted for discussion here.

But the mods and everyone else do - so hey ho.

Onwards and upwards.

Excellent work Floris. I'm gutted I cannot see the full image either (FF 3.6 Mac). But when I first viewed it I didn't know it was supposed to be any different and still liked it :) The Popular content page you have is also a "must have". I hope this will be released as a downloadable add-on :)

Hi sourpuss, what so wrong with asking here? Wannabe mods don't ya just luv em:rolleyes:

LOL - I'm no arse kisser, I'm not moderator material. I pointed out the obvious. Common sense will help in your endeavour to receive a faster response by visiting the site where floris has access to the code and that is pending whether he wants to release it to you. Common sense, community sense if you want to look at it from another perspective, heck communal sense sounds even better.

Please kier I want to be a moderator. Please consider me. :P ROFLMAO

Personally I find it a bit bland and much too close to default style.
Yep, they are minor changes, we haven't really customized our theme yet - after beta 3 we will revert and re-apply + optimize the changes, and implement more new things. We have no rush with improving the site, especially since it's just in beta. I rather use the time to post on the site and build great content.

Nice design Floris, may I suggest one idea you could play around with?

for one of my older projects, I had a somewhat similar background for the design. What I did was I created two DIVs as containers, and each had their own background.

DIV 1 container had a background image of a town/houses with transparent background

DIV 2 container was a continuous pattern of clouds and grassland which expanded in the x direction.

So when the browser did resize, the town and houses did move according to screen size, but the sky and ground seemed to be somewhat fixed. Gave it a somewhat animated feel.

Just an idea. :)

Well, now you know what I've changed in the footer but didn't mention directly ;)
