I'm adjusting the window size but the header image remains the same. I thought it might scale down to fit the width of the window.

Varying the size of the image would deteriorate the quality and the height

On wallbase, select this option for perfect compatibility of the width ( 1920 pixel for large screen )

Enter your keyword, example: "space" for beautiful space images and use image with plugin

Simply cut out the best part of the image with paint, photofiltre or any imaging software even free.

Even online with imgur : http://imgur.com

Clic on "Web" button. Import image (copy/past, link or importation, you have the choice).
Check edit et press start.

Select your favorite zone and press "Apply" button.

And "Save" button for finish.

You have your image :

I'm going to try it soon.

The idea of rotating a few every "x" days or weeks is a good one also. Not too many - but maybe up to 3, and not too quickly either - that would confuse a visitor.

OK, I installed it and it first didn't work - the TMS modification for xenforo.css needed to be applied by checking it.

Now I am experimenting with it.

Are the images always going to repeat?
They seem to repeat both down and to the side. If I make the the full size (these are jpg) as 1920x250, they are too big to see on most computer screens. (they do not resize).

The repeat is shown at the bottom left of this screen shot...

Maybe it is my other style settings?

Add this code in your extra.css :

#header {
    background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
}

Or if you just want repeat the image horizontally, add:

#header {
    background-repeat: repeat-x !important;
}

Great - that worked....

I will do better later, but I was able to improve the look of my forum in about 30 minutes by making a banner - also featured my best sponsors product pictures on it, so that should make them happy!

Some hints to others who install this.

The two items installed in the TMS need to be turned on for it to work properly. Only the xenforo.css one needs to be applied if you are not using the banner as a clickable link.

Installation is simply doing the 2st then the 2nd XML files - the download contains 2 directories, each named as to which you do first and second!

This is not enabled by default even if TMS was installed before?

TMS was up and running - I have lots of various add-on's which use it.
But it was not enabled by default. I had to manually turn those two items on.

Also, as I mentioned, the clickable banner did not work even after it was selected in the options - until after I turned on the other tms edit (the one with the xencrea name).
