From my test on the change avatar pop up of xenforo 2.3 (when a user clicks edit on it's avatar card) the first row and category aren't visible
The problem also happens on registration pop up

Also is there a way to let the user upload an avatar too? or they may only pick one from the gallery? It seems weird to me to force them to use one from the gallery.

Correct! I meant at registration, if avatar is mandatory they can't upload any, seems unfair.
I want them mandatory but I don't want to force the gallery to them.
What I tried was setting the guest group permission "Upload an avatar" to Yes, but it made no difference.

Yes indeed, it's a gallery avatar addon, so I just added the ability to choose from an avatar gallery.

I guess it's out of the scope, In that case I won't make it mandatory.
I'll just wait for an update on the style, if possible.

Ok, now it works! Maybe better it should be: "Can use the avatar gallery" -> yes

@CRUEL-MODZ he's suggesting to use a "positive" permission style like most permissions.
Having to grant a Yes permission to deny something is counterintuitive.
People usually use the dropdown to set everything to No or Never but in this plugin it works inversed because the wording is negated.
I mean it technically works it's just weird.

Indeed, I had done that because in general the gallery is available, so for 1/2 group of users who should not have access to the gallery, for other groups you have to set all on yes, so it would be complicated the task for not much, I think it's better to stay like that.

That said if you set on NO can uplode avatar, the user will not be able to use the gallery so ....

This addon uninstalled won't delete itself when requested because a file "Capture d'écran 2023-07-17 180327.png" is missing i had to upload a random png file and name it like that so it would delete itself.

Excellent. I kept getting "11 files missing or inconsistent..." every time my forum checked its files since I removed the "default" avatars that came with an older version. This has been fixed. Thanks!
